Here’s a quick share of a Chalk Paint transformation I did a few months back!
This is a solid piece of furniture that had a pretty hefty price when I bought it brand new! I didn’t want to sell it or give it away to just anybody. So I tucked it away in my guest bedroom for a few years until I could decide what to do with it. After 8 years in a house full of children, it was scratched up and not really the color I wanted in my home anymore.
Too orange-y for my taste now!
So, when my parents recently moved here and had no furniture because they sold everything before they moved, I found it the perfect new home. They needed some furniture and so I transformed this piece for their new home!
It’s beautiful now!
Here are the details on this transformation:
First, I used BB Frösch Chalk Paint Powder to turn my paint into chalk paint! You can read more about that here.
White Paint color – Swiss Coffee by Behr
Turquoise paint color was a color match
I used this paint sprayer to spray the cabinet white and then hand painted the insides.
Cheers!
