Have you ever tried a Strawberries and Creme Frappaccino from Starbucks? It’s sweet, creamy and oh so good! It’s very much like a Strawberry milkshake. I use them as bribery treats with my children but it can be a little pricey from Starbucks.
Luckily, with the help of a few simple ingredients, you can make a perfect delicious Strawberries and Creme Frappaccino at home and I think it tastes even better!
When I made a Vanilla Bean Creme Frappaccino for my children a few months back, I got to thinking it’s really the perfect base for any flavor of frappaccino. This whole being locked up, shut in, quarantined…whatever you want to call it – has got us all going bonkers in the house and one way we’ve been coping is with experimenting in the kitchen cooking, baking and making all the food things.
This treat is one of our experiments and very simple only using 5 ingredients and will take about 7 minutes tops.
Recipe notes
You will need a good blender (I use this one) that is strong enough to puree the ice so it’s nice and smooth and creamy plus you will need a stand mixer or a hand held mixer if you want to make the whip cream too.
Adjust the sweetness to your liking. I found that 1/4 cup of sugar was plenty, however, depending on the ripeness/sweetness of the fresh strawberries you use it may need a little bit more…like 1-2 tbsp.
You can make with fresh or frozen strawberries. If using frozen strawberries, decrease the amount of ice by about 1/2 cup.
This recipe will make 24oz, roughly. I usually divide that amount into (4) 6oz servings with a couple dollops of the homemade whip on top and it’s enough to make the littles happy.

*You can substitute 1 cup of frozen strawberries. If you do so, decrease the amount of ice to 1-1.5 cups.
