These DIY treat bag toppers are so fun and easy!
They are perfect for elementary classroom Valentine treats to hand out to friends.
I created 2 different versions so they can be used as a personalized handout with names (more for elementary aged kids) or a generic handout without names (more for Middle and High School aged kids).
What you will need
-printed toppers (you can download them below)
-3.75 x 6″ clear cellophane treat bags (They were $1.80 at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon)
-Smarties ( I purchased these limited addition Valentine Smarties at Winco in the bulk candy section)
-Stapler
-Scissors
Then print, cut, stuff the smarties in the bag, fold the topper in half and slide the bag in between and staple once on each side!
**One thing to note or pay attention to when printing these. They are designed to print with 1/4 inch margin on all sides. My printer automatically tries to print them at 93% which makes the topper to small for a 4″ treat bag. I have to manually change my printer to print at 100%….just something to be aware of 🙂
